ABOUT THE “DS”

The Deck Saloon concept for the 43 ft line is a continuation of the revolutionary concept introduced in the Sun Odyssey 40DS. The success of the 40DS has challenged Jeanneau to continue the development of its productline of "Deck Saloons" and expand it with a new 43 foot model. This model is also designed by Daniel Andrieu, it was the "must see" boat at the Paris Boat Show at the time. As innovative as its predecessor, the Sun Odyssey 43DS conserves the concept of bringing bright natural lighting from the roof, and thanks to a fresh and clever design, has a very large aft cabin plus a wide cockpit. This Jeanneau 43DS is an owner boat that has been constantly upgraded and is ideal for circumnavigation, long distance cruising, blue water sailing, comfort and fun.

The interior design of the Jeanneau 43DS is unique with a full across aft stateroom that is spacious with lots of storage, windows and has a center line queen berth with private full equipped bathroom with shower, toilet, sink and stowage.
