Custom Td Center Cockpit Cutter - Price just reduced

S/Y HANALEI BAY is a beautiful custom aluminum cutter designed by John Simpson and built by TD Manufacturing in Vancouver, BC. She is heavily built to Commercial Canadian Steamship Standards with 1'' plating at the keel and stem, graduating to 1/4'' at the sheer. The cambered flush deck is also 1/4'' plating. The original and present owner has sailed the yacht extensively in the Atlantic, Pacific, Caribbean and Mediterranean. As of June 2013 she is south bound from the Virgin Islands to Trinidad for the summer season where she will be hauled out for annual maintenance. The hull form and powerful cutter rig provide excellent performance and stability. The yacht offers a spacious deck layout featuring a roomy center cockpit and helm station protected by a hard dodger and bimini top. The fore, aft and side decks are uncluttered and easy to move about on. The interior offers a full width salon, spacious galley, work shop, five private cabins and four heads. A unique transom design allows excellent access to the water or tender. Hanalei Bay is a very comfortable yacht that has been well cared for by her knowledgeable owner. She is ideal for private or charter use and is strong enough to venture into extreme latitudes

The layout offers five private cabins, four vacuum flush fresh water heads, roomy salon, gourmet galley and functional work shop. The interior is well lit and ventilated by way of numerous deck hatches, opening ports and fixed windows. Two air conditioning units cool the private cabins when desired and a Dickinson diesel heater is centrally located in the salon for comfort in colder latitudes.

Beginning forward there is cabin furnished with a double v-berth, large deck hatch and storage shelves. Immediately aft to port there is a walk-thru head compartment equipped with vanity, mirror, toilet and shower which is shared between the forward cabin and the crew cabin just aft to port. The crew cabin is furnished with stacked single berths outboard and clothes washer / dryer inboard. To starboard there a guest cabin with double berth, bulkhead mirror, storage locker and ensuite head with vanity, mirror, toilet and shower. Moving aft and one step up is the salon which features a large dinning table to port capable of seating eight to ten people with a long U-shaped settee outboard and bench seat inboard. A convenient desk and storage shelf is located aft of the dinning area outboard to port. Two steps down and further aft is a guest cabin with two single berths and ensuite head with vanity, mirror, toilet and shower. The starboard side of the salon features a settee forward, entertainment cabinet with large flat screen TV outboard and wet bar aft. The companionway steps enter the salon slightly offset to starboard. Moving aft and two steps down on the starboard side is the long galley which is fully equipped with plenty of counter space and excellent ventilation by way of three opening ports and a transom door which draws air thru from the salon. A functional work shop is directly aft of the galley and fitted with a work bench and numerous tools and spare part compartments. The transom door opens out to the stern platform.  Aft of the galley to port is the owner's cabin with double berth and ensuite head with vanity, mirror, toilet and separate shower stall.
