Catana Carbon Infusion Owner Version - Price just reduced

LILLY is hull #32 of the Catana 42 Carbon Infusion series and only launched at the end of July 2013. After initial sea trial her owner sailed her from La Rochelle, FR to Zeebrugge, BE where she was loaded on a ship and off-loaded in Philadelphia, PA last September 2013.

LILLY was displayed at the 2013 Annapolis Boat Show and is the Catana 42 we used to win Cruising World Magazine's Multihull Boat of The Year Under 50'. I haven't see every Catana 42 built, but my guess is she could be the most optioned Catana 42 built to date! 

LILLY is the second Catana owned by her owner who is now looking to move up to a larger Catana. So here's an excellent opportunity to purchase a truly "like new" Catana without having to wait and at a serious cost savings!

The two outer hull molds and one inner hull/bridgedeck mold are cored with Corecell™ closed cell foam. The separately molded daggerboard trunks are laminated to be several times stronger than the daggerboards.

A unidirectional cloth is used for the outer skin (laminate) and a combination of unidirectional cloth & Twaron® impact resistant aramid cloth is used for the inner skin (laminate) to enhance torsional strength and the hulls from groundings. 

The deck & coachroof is a one piece mold, cored with Corecell™ closed cell foam with  molded diamond pattern non-skid decks. The deck to hull joint is bonded by fiberglass & resin creating a seamless waterproof and rigid structure.

The entire shell (hulls, bridgedeck, decks & coachroof plus all bulkheads are resin infused using the SCRIMP™ infusion process and employing both vinylester and isophthalic resins. 

100% carbon fiber is used in the following components:
