ONE OF A KIND CUSTOM BUILT CLASSIC. This beautiful classic was designed and built for one customer in 1953 by Valco Aluminum Boats, a Div. of Valley Aluminum. It is the only boat of its kind. Valco is known worldwide as a leader in the manufacture of riveted aluminum boats.
The boat was originally designed to power with a Chrysler straight 8 but was reconfigured for a Chris Craft 180 hp V8. The Chris Craft was not enough power for the runabout so in 1975 a rebuilt Chevy small block 350 w/300hp was installed giving the boat exactly what she needed. This was added to the original Chris Craft Paragon hydraulic reverse gear transmission and Walter V Drive.
