In 1965, Henri Wauquiez, French yachting enthusiast, built the first Wauquiez, marking the beginning of a story that now, more than ever, is made ??of love of work well done, offering boaters sailboats comfortable fast and reliable: the oldest models are sought after by lovers of ocean cruising. They are truly “Boats for Life”.

Designed by Edward DuBois, Wauquiez built 31 Wauquiez Centurion 41Ss between 1994 and 1999. Aigline was first launched in 1997. Renowned for superior craftsmanship, this Centurion 41S is a fine example of the fine hand laid construction and superior wood work that has made Wauquiez one of the premier yacht builders in France, and certainly in Europe.

The Wauquiez 41S is a comfortable cruiser easily sailed with a roller furling genoa and easily managed mainsail, with a removable foresail stay. Full teak decks , trunk cabin top, and cockpit, this is a true cruising yacht in the grand old tradition. Typical with French design detail, Aigline is a head turner in any port.

Below the magnificent teak wood construction makes for a warm comfortable traditional layout. Forward is a spacious forward cabin with double berth and adjoining head and shower. There are plenty of built in cabinets, hanging lockers, and drawers to stow a year’s worth of personal gear.

The main Saloon boasts a dinette arrangement to Starboard with a center line table (double berth) that seats five. Opposite to Port is a full length bench which is also a single berth.  Beautifully trimmed in natural finished hard woods, this cabin is spacious and open with excellent ventilation.

Aft to port is a full fore and aft navigation area with a proper chart table and all the electronics.  Also to port is the second head and shower.

The well equipped galley is aft to Starboard with Freezer, Refrigerator, and gas stove and oven. The huge double galley sinks are near midline for ease on offshore passages.

All the way aft are the twin double berth aft staterooms giving complete privacy for an additional two couples. The Saloon can sleep another three persons if desired.

Aigline is beautifully maintained by her French owners and lies in the Southern Greek Islands ready for her new crew.
