Hoek Design Lemsteraak / Dutch Leeboard - Nieuw aanbod

The 14 m. Lemsteraak 'Gouden Leeuw' was built in 1995 to a Hoek Design by the by then famous Engelaer Shipyard in The Netherlands.  According to the designer Andre Hoek: "She was designed for shorthanded cruising and built to an exceptional quality level with great perfection to detail".

The design was based on the experience of the Hoek Design office who now have over 300 new builds of these yachts to their design afloat. The "Gouden Leeuw" was designed with racing and cruising in mind and has the potential to do well in regatta’s.

 

The many stainless steel parts such as chain plates, capping rail flat bar, hydraulic windlass en halyard winches, sail which bases, rudder tiller, etc,... assure a lasting fresh and clean appearance on deck.

 

The Gouden Leeuw represents an exceptional quality of joinery work as produced by Ruiter Quality Interiors. The teak decks and classic skylights, oak leeboards and rudder, oregon hollow spars and oak carved exterior joinery are stunning, to say the least.

The interior includes raised and fielded panelling in pear wood finished in satin varnish,  in combination with white satin Oregon grooved ceilings and satin varnished Ash flooring, creating a very special and warm atmosphere in the yacht. Moreover, the main bulkhead in the saloon features real time art by the Frisian artist Bauke Feenstra, covering the entire with of the bulkhead.

The interior layout has a large open plan saloon with galley and nav table, owners cabin with private bathroom and en-suite forward of the main bulkhead on Portside,  a twin guest cabin with en-suite bathroom on Starboard side and a crew cabin forward with one double and two single beds. 

 

The yacht has always "slept" inside during the winter season and has been kept in great condition.
