Nijinsky looks virtually new due to the fact that most of her years prior to 2010 have been spent in the very short seasons of the Great Lakes in a fresh water environment that is so kind to boats. Her first owner was quite proud of her sailing performance but he actually raced her in a very few races with his regular crew. In 2008, she won her class in the Port Huron Mackinac Race setting a new record. Three other years in the same race she finished second. She raced the TransErie race twice and won both times! She also entered the Falcon race once and won! Very impressive! In 2010 the new owner took delivery in New York May and after the upgrades done in Annapolis MD she spent the winter in the Bahamas. The forward cabin has a large V berth with lockers outboard above, a hanging locker, and large drawers. The forward cabin has private access to the large forward head with a stall shower and several lockers for linens. On the starboard side is the second guest cabin with large upper and lower berths with a hanging locker, drawers and lockers. Next aft is the main saloon with a large dinette to starboard with seating for six with great visibility and light provided by the large saloon windows. There is a full length straight settee to port with bookshelves and cabinets outboard. There is storage under and behind the settees. There is a large comfortable ships office and navigation station just aft to port. The galley extends aft of the saloon on the starboard side. The owners’ stateroom aft is very private with an ensuite head and stall shower. There are plenty of lockers and cabinets for storage. This vessel is the last Little Harbor 52 built and she is a showpiece for this renowned builder. The first owner spent an additional 300K in upgrades of every detail sparing no expensive to build this exquisite yacht! There is absolutely nothing that compares to this yacht being built today. The interior joinery is solid teak with many coats of high gloss varnish in absolutely perfect condition. The cabinets and lockers are lined with red cedar or with Formica trimmed in teak. Every detail is finished perfectly with all the wire runs hidden behind removable panels. Every storage space is completely finished. Even the bilges are finished in white gelcoat. The cabin sole is solid teak inlaid with holly slips finished perfectly with twelve coats of varnish. All of the beautiful stainless steel hatches have built in screens and shades that slide away. The stainless steel opening ports have screens and draperies. All the berths have custom real mattresses and custom linings and coverings. Each stateroom has a full length mirrors and all of the lighting fixtures are stainless steel or chromed finish and all are gleaming. Every accessory matches the interior right down to the towel racks. The interior is elegant with custom fabrics and every detail and accessory is coordinated from the brass towel racks to the light fixtures and hardware, ever detail is perfect.
