A Cookson 50

VICTOIRE is now our latest central listing and first of this new year of 2015.

She is one of the, if not the, most successful Cookson 50 ever raced.  As JAZZ she was world famous  for winning races from the Caribbean to Europe and then on to Australia.  Her current owner purchased her in 2012 and kept right on winning with overall wins in the 2013 Sydney to Hobart and the Gosford to Lord Howe race. Also just recently 2nd in class ( behind a sistership) in IRC 0 for the 2014 Hobart race.  Full safety gear, new sails in 2014, updated navigation area, VICTOIRE is ready to keep on going and has an owner who is serious about selling her.

Call us to be sent  her full details.

In several of the above events VICTOIRE competed against other Cookson 50s and TP 52s, and was not beaten by either. Unlike many other boats of her size racing offshore, the Cookson 50 is designed and built to cope with the toughest conditions, and VICTOIRE  has never retired from an offshore race. If you want to win offshore in a boat of the 50ft size range, VICTOIRE should be your choice.

In 2010/2011 VICTOIRE was been returned to mint condition, with a new engine, a complete overhaul of the keel and its canting system including a new electronic control system and a new upgraded hydraulic manifold, new non-slip finish on deck and new epoxy finish on underwater hull surface, much new standing rigging, almost complete renewal of running rigging, almost complete renewal of sail wardrobe, and many other upgrades and renewals including a new carbon fixed bowsprit.

She is ready to race and continue her winning ways.
