Sangermani Terza Santa Maria - Nuovo arrivo

TERZA SANTA MARIA

Brief history

Terza Santa Maria  was launched in  1973 by the outstanding italian shipyard  Cantiere Sangermani in Lavagna . She was designed by Cesare Sangermani .The unusual sail plan , the shape of the stern end and the very classic construction anticipate the construction of two very important yachts designed by Carlo Sciarrelli and built by the same shipyard the following year  which have great likeness to these features   : Chaplin,a well known cruiser racer and  Julie Mother, a 30 meters staysail schooner like this one . Evidently the ideas of  Cesare Sangermani inspired the famous yacht designer and created a trend in the italian yachting history.

Her first name was Noa Noa V ; number of construction 184

 Accomodations

Terza Santa Maria is a very comfortable yacht . Despite her flush deck construction there is great height, light and air down below.

The decor, details, surfaces, wooden parts are in perfect conditions as the tapestry and  tissues . The yacht has a very good ventilation thanks to the many portholes, skylights and dorade vents .Entering from the cockpit there is an ample navigation corner on the right hand side with a wide chart table , electronics and the electric panel. On the left side the galley area ,in a very convenient position , close to the cockpit. It is very well organized , with a generous stainless steel 4 burner+ oven  cooker ; washable stainless steel working surfaces and sinks . There is a very big fridge and freezer with 3 doors . Lockers, stowage places and working surfaces allow to  store a lot and provide a first class service if required and to be indipendent for many days of blue water cruising.

The saloon is very wide and comfortable with a settee around an octagonal table on the left side which can easily host 8-10 persons . The right side of the saloon has a comfortable settee  with bookshelves, storages, and lockers which form a real living room corner and allow the crew and hosts great comfort for the life on board during navigations. Paintings, pictures, decorations show the passion and love of the owner for this luxurious vessel

From the saloon we get to the forward part trough a long corridor where a perfectly fitted carpet makes the space cozy. The corridor give access to the 2 guest cabins and one bathroom and ends up in the owners quarters.

The two guest cabins are wide with generous size bunk beds . Very big storage lockers and spaces , wide floors allow the 4 guests to live comfortably even for many days of permanence on board. The left cabin has a toilette corner en suite ; the right one has a wider floor space and is very roomy. The bathroom is in common to both cabins with its own door on the corridor.

The corridor ends up in a somptuous owner’s cabin with a king size bed built-in wardrobe , lockers and tonns of space . Forward to the cabin there is the owner’s bathroom of very great comfort .

The crew quarter are more forward and they have separate access from the deck. It is a comfortable simple cabin for two crewmembers with a small bathroom and shower.

On a blue water  yacht of this kind it is smart to have placed the owner’s cabin far from the engine room and toh ave put the engine room very much astern. You do not feel so much the noise of the engine and generators in the owner’s cabin and  even if the cabin lays forward from the baricentric section you will not suffer of discomfort on a boat of this dimensions and hull.

In very good blue water sailing conditions , Terza Santa Maria is for sale at an attractive price of 720.000 €
