Not often do you get a chance to see a TS50 up close, let alone purchase one. BAIES DU MONDE is a magnificent TS50 built in 2005. Her twin daggerboards and high performance rig can easily propel the boat to speeds in the 20 knot range yet provide cruising accommodations and space for a family of four plus guests. Upgraded to the highest level of equipment and maintained by an experienced sailor couple this TS50 is not to be missed and presents a great opportunity to purchase a high performance cruiser with all the proper equipment already added.

BAIES DU MONDE had a complete refit between 2012 and 2013 in France. 

Built in 2005 by Catlantech (France) and launched in 2006, the catamaran has been completely refitted in 2013. BAIES DU MONDE is actually located in Tahiti (French Polynesia) and immediately ready to sail. She is owned by an experienced couple and easy sailed by two people. Single-handing can be done without any modifications.

Rigging renewed in 2013 by Navtec. All rigging is in Kevlar and Dyneema,

Furlers for solent and storm jib are Profurl Next 8.0 and 5.0 (2013).

11,2kn average to cross Atlantic from Canarias Islands to Barbados in April 2011 (with the old sails)

7 hours and 30mn from Nelson Harbour (Antigua) to Marigot Bay (St Martin). 13,3kN average speed.

18 days and 3 hours from Panama to Fatu Hiva (Marquesas islands).

Most of the time the BAIES DU MONDE is controlled under autopilot, however she is very easy to sail with her rudders, comfortably accessed via the rotating helm chair. These seats are generally used during watch time outside, due to their high position with a good general overview of the sea and sails.

The saloon and hulls are dedicated to life aboard. Well illuminated, cozy and comfortable, the dining table can easily seat 6 people and up to 8 using the two poufs.

All equipment for electronics, communications and sailing data are concentrated on the right side nav station. One can be seated in the pouf and control the entire boat from this position.

The kitchen with all facilities is situated with a view into the cockpit of the catamaran.

On port side is a large and deep washing basin, with drying space. Hot and cold water is available. The microwave with grill is situated on the top side and a toaster at the entrance of the port hull.

On the starboard side, one of the fridge is located with a deep freezer (the second one is located under the dining room), as well as the 3 burner gas stove and the compulsory espresso coffee machine….

A double cabin is situated on portside. This is a very comfortable cabin at sea (2.00 x 1.40m) with unbelievable sea view. The Owner’s cabin is equipped with a TV.

3 double cabins and one single bed make up the accommodations. 2 cabins are situated in each hull.

The starboard side is dedicated to the owner’s cabin. Shower in the forward part, an electric toilet situated near the daggerboard, with TV, high density foam for the bed and blackouts to blind all hull windows.

The port side cabin is situated in the rear of the boat, toilet and shower are situated near the dagger-board and the forward area is dedicated to storage, spare parts and tools. Blackouts fitted in the cabin and corridor.
