These owner's bought “Talelayo” ( Inuit sea goddess ) in 2003 from in Lake Ontario at Fair Haven New York across the lake from their home town of Toronto. They truly fell in love with this beautiful boat and shipped her back to Ventura CA where they slowly brought her back to the magnificent vessel that she is today.

In today’s time of really ugly plastic boats, the ones that look more like a floating Clorox bottle than actually a handcrafted yacht, it is ever so refreshing still to see the real thing float on by. Boats of this beauty are far and few in between.

I know, they are not meant for everyone. In fact, there are not enough of these boats to go around because as artwork, they are far and few in between. Most of today’s boat owners don’t have a clue on how to take care of one, and when asked, they would like to have their little ships remind them of the home that they just left. Floating livingrooms..

This Listing Brokerage Firm has sold and delivered many Cape George Cutters. From the 36 all the way down to the 31. Years ago, I picked up a client’s Cape George 36 in Connecticut , under light air, and half way between Block Island and Cape May, the fuel pickup tube fell into its tank. No problem I said. I sailed her up the Delaware Bay to the C&D Canal, got towed through the Canal, and sailed her down the Chesapeake Bay to Annapolis under some 30 knots of a NNWer, then all the way into her slip on Back Creek. Motto is that the Cape George Cutter sails incredibly well. The Cape George 31 sails the best from them all.

Our very special offering isn’t for everyone. Just the chosen few. Talelayo as she’s called is the best of the best. Factory finished, incredibly well cared for and properly equipped and most importantly, she has had a major refit over the last several years. In fact, there is a complete description in the Full Specs that is a must read!

If you’re looking for a little yacht that rivals a masterpiece of artwork, then here she is. Don’t let her slip by.
