Wave 58

BRAND NEW BUILD !!!

The Wave Catamaran Shipyard in Szczecin, Poland started yacht production by providing finishing touches to a pre-purchased, (40 foot) 12-meter, Format 1200 catamaran hull, (available for sale) which is now being chartered on the Mediterranean. Having spent several years working on similar projects the partners decided to take on the more creative challenge of designing and manufacturing their own line of sailing catamarans.

In 2009-2010 Zbigniew Lodyga, Mieczyslaw Szwed and Bartosz Puchowski created their first 17.5 meter catamaran, the Wave 58. Their first two epoxy built laminate catamarans were completed at the end of 2010, combining modern technology and years of sea going experience which has helped to create a safe and luxurious sailing yacht for the 21st century. One of which now serves as a test vessel. First she was tested in the Atlantic circle and ARC rally in 2011/2012. By the 12th of May 2012 Sta Maria reached Szczecin, her home port. After seven months of sailing the Atlantic Ocean the test was complete. So just for fun they took another Atlantic trip to the Canary Islands in Nov. 2012 and have just returned. Now its your turn. The shipyard is now set to build the next catamaran to order, according to individual customer's needs offering 3 models, the standard charter model, the custom owner’s model and a semi race model with carbon fiber mast.

Sta Maria sails fast and averaged 200NM a day crossing the Atlantic. The boat was built to handle all sea and wind conditions and the raised centerline helm gives the captain views of all 4 corners when maneuvering in tight areas. With all lines lead back to the cockpit and the electric winch doing all the hard work, sailing is easy, even for the novice. Her beautiful and yet functional interior will make any owner proud to display their vessel to all interested lookers. Imagine sailing with your favorite friends and family showing them the best time at sea set in the lap of luxury. There is plenty of room to be together or be alone anywhere on board. The galley up allows the chef complete cooking comfort with all the galley appliances necessary for large parties including a full size side by side frig/freezer. All four of the double berth staterooms have abundant storage in hanging lockers, drawers and shelves and the two aft staterooms have an insuite head with a large comfortable shower. The interior Iroko and oak wood bulkheads, soles and cabinetry have been oiled to protect the finishes and give the interior the look of a 5 star resort. This beautiful vessel can be seen at the Szczecin shipyard for purchase or is available for charter. BE THE FIRST TO OWN THE WAVE ! 

Step into the salon from the large cockpit through the starboard salon door and find the huge navigation station to starboard and moving to port the entertainment center in between the salon doors followed by the port door and a huge standup side by side refrigerator freezer. Moving forward portside is the U shaped galley with breakfast bar and 2 stools and across to starboard the L shaped dinette to port with large table for 10, all with huge wrap around windows for spectacular views.
3 Steps down from the galley find the guest port head w/ shower amidships and moving forward find the starboard raised guest stateroom followed by a single crew berth stateroom. The starboard side has the same. Moving aft from the walkthrough find the aft stateroom w/ insuite head, electric toilets, shower, large hanging closets and storage galore and the starboard side has the same.
STA MARIA can sleep 8 owners and guests and 2 crew members in 6 private staterooms and offers 4 private heads with showers.
