Jefferson Monticello - Price just reduced

This immaculate 1990 Jefferson 52 Monticello Motor Yacht "Mary Cruising" features a full fly bridge and a lower helm featuring full dual station controls, a bow pulpit and comprehensive easy to set ground tackle and power windlass, an aft deck, a swim platform and a transom shower. The glowing hand-rubbed teak interior with its matching and elegant teak parquet flooring throughout make this a gorgeous luxury apartment that takes you in high style wherever your dreams and travel plans do.
These 52 Monticello Motor Yachts are handcrafted by skilled artisans so that no two are ever exactly alike. This fine example is no exception. ‘Mary Cruising’ has two astonishingly spacious and luxurious cabins - the Master with en-suite full bath aft behind its custom curved teak bulkhead, and the Forward Suite, also with en-suite full bath - as well as a full bath and double cabin for guest use aft of the lounge. With her large and panoramic view upper salon - equipped with a home theater flat screen and speakers and a built-in wet bar – for entertainment at anchor or underway, and her spacious airy lower Main Lounge for comfortable and cozy relaxation, "Mary Cruising" is the perfect luxurious yacht to take you and family and friends on adventures near and far in stylish safety and comfort. Come Aboard and start a new adventure together today!

‘Mary Cruising’ immediately impresses on approach with her overall shine and well-kept appearance. Every window has a custom exterior sunshade-cover in light buff, and she presents as newer than her age might suggest. Her hull sparkles with a very pleasant high mirror gloss.
On boarding, her side decks are notably wide and sheltered, and her white handrails feel elegant and easy to hand. Her huge cabin trunk – a perfect lounging and sunning area just aft of the covered cushioned foredeck seating area—is covered and shaded in-port with a custom awning to protect the surface and provide shade. The forward seating has a custom cover, as does all exterior seating on the yacht. The foredeck is wide and well equipped for ease of use and crew safety.
Entering from the port or starboard doors at the aft side deck, you are immediately surrounded by the soft warm glow of the teak interior and flooring. Directly ahead is the lower helm, and access ladder to the fly bridge. Just aft is the upper Salon living and entertainment area, with its built-in bar and home theater with speakers. This wonderful space is surrounded by large custom-curtained windows equipped with exterior sunscreens all around and an awning and deck overhang for the aft deck. The swim platform and shower is accessed from this deck via the aft-starboard Salon door and the transom ladder.
From the starboard side of the lower helm, one ascends a fine set of steps to the fly bridge deck. Here there is a Boston chair for the Skipper and custom-covered built in seating for Family and Guests. The visibility here is uninterrupted all around, and the sense of power and control from the helm is palpable. Just aft of this full-enclosure covered and protected deck is the working area of the fly bridge. Here is the storage space for the inflatable dinghy, and also the loading crane for the dinghy and other heavy items to be taken aboard or landed ashore. The canvas Sunbrella and Isinglass enclosure up here is, just like the canvas everywhere on this lovely and pampered yacht, in extremely fine condition.
To Port and forward of the lower helm seating are the steps to the Main Lounge deck below. This large and comfortable space has copious storage built in and is a sea of warm satin-finished teak. Forward and to starboard is the Galley, two wide steps down. Well-equipped, expansive, and with counter space and storage for the most demanding chef, this Galley is a real joy for the cook. It even has a stainless steel full sized refrigerator opposite the ceramic electric cooktop!
Forward of the Galley and two further steps down is the Forward Suite. This large and luxurious cabin is essentially a second Master suite, as it has a huge island centerline pedestal berth, many fine storage spaces, vanities, two wardrobes and also its own en-suite full bath with shower!
Just opposite the Galley, next to the step is the dining area, with the remainder of the large Lounge given over to living and relaxation space. There is further storage built in to the teak sides and ends of the Lounge area. The Parquet flooring extends throughout, from the aft end of the Lounge are the steps down to the Laundry area, and aft cabins’ passageway.
Down this teak-lined passage to starboard is the Guest cabin, with two single berths at right angles and over-under each other for maximum utility and space. Across from this is the large and well-appointed Full Guest Bath and head for general use of all aboard. This also has the marble sinks of the other en-suite units.
Aft of the guest cabin we come to the most elegant cabin on the yacht – the full-beam Master Suite with its en-suite full bath with tub! Featuring a centerline queen pedestal walk-around berth surrounded by night stands and storage lockers and drawers, this space is simply regal.
There is a built-in vanity to starboard, next to a full length wardrobe and further storage, with plenty of floor space for dressing to go ashore in style, or getting ready to entertain. And because every one of these fine yachts are built by master craftsman who care, the woodwork is not only fine and flawlessly executed, but shows individual touches unique to this yacht’s carpenters and cabinetmakers: The aft starboard bulkhead corner is not chamfered or squared off, but is beautifully rounded and curved, giving a feeling of custom work and a softness to the cabin that also maximizes both the head and bath space along with the Master cabin’s. This cabin is truly a wonderful and fitting space for the Skipper of such a fine yacht.
With such care and attention having obviously been paid to her maintenance and upkeep, this excellent example of a Jefferson 52 Monticello Motor Yacht is a must see for anyone seriously seeking a 50+ foot to purchase. Her marque is well known and respected, her condition is excellent, and her value is high.
