Island Spirit - Priced to sell!

The Island Spirit brand was introduced into the United States and the Caribbean charter market in 1998, it instantly became a much sought after catamaran, mainly because of the revolutionary design which offered both optimal space and superior sailing performance. Over 50 Island Spirits have been built, 35 of which were sold in the United States between 1998 and 2006. To this day Island Spirit multihulls are still extremely popular in the second hand market.

The Island Spirit 37 competes as the most spacious catamaran in its size category.

'Island Fling' comes to the market as a fully equipped cruising home with absolutely everything you need remaining onboard including many spares. In 2008 she had two new 30hp Yanmar engines and saildrives installed, in 2013 hulls were epoxied with Gel-Shield and the interior was reworked including new deck heads and vinyl linings and a new suite of sails was purchased. Never chartered, the yacht has been in private ownership since commissioning.

Only regretfully for sale, the owners look forward to handing their beloved catamaran over to her next owners.

This is a galley up layout with four double cabins. The bridgedeck is well designed giving easy dining for six and the tinted wrap around windows and seven hatches keep it cool. The nav station is generous in size with a standing desk arrangement including a CANON MP230 printer/scanner. Entertainment from the 17'' LCD SAMSUNG 730 MW TV and DVD player and the JVC KD-X200 usb/radio/mp3 player with two speakers in the saloon and two waterproof speakers in the cockpit. Headroom is 1.95m in the saloon.

Each hull is laid out identically. Each cabin has a good wardrobe, lockers, seating and the central bathrooms work in nicely. The bathrooms have good fitted vanity cabinets, mirrors and shelving.
