Further info:

  • Custom build in Harrysmith, South Africa by Peter Scofield in 1991
  • First owner Michael Marshall sailed with his wife and 2 young children a maiden trip from Durban to Madagascar
  • Sailed via the Cape and Saint Helen to South America and stayed in the Caraïbs for about 6 months
  • Crossed the Atlantic to Plymouth U.K. then continued to Antwerp, Belgium via the river Sceldt
  • In September 1992 the current owner bought her and sailed the 1993 summer season in Belgium and Holland, single-handed for one week through the canals and locks of Zeeland to get the catamaran perfectly under control
  • In September 1994 sailed with a crew of inexperienced “river sailors” to Bodrum, Turkey, building up confidence in the catamaran – distance 3200 Nm in 24 days
  • Chartering by Crusader Yachting from 1995 till 2000 allowing further improvements like new white sails, bimini, solar panels, davits, etc
  • After retiring from aviation end of 1999, the owner moved the boat to the quiet and wonderful bay of Fethiye, Turkey
  • They remained for 3 years in Gocek and for 9 years in Ece Saray Marina, Fethiye, Turkey
  • Her hull and deck were professionaly restored and repainted with INTERNATIONAL PERFECTION in 2011

General

LAYOUT & ACCOMMODATIONS:

Interior has full headroom throughout the entire boat. Ventilation consists of 6 opening ports, 9 opening hatches and 4 electric fans.(new 2009)
All ports and hatches including entry door have fly screens.
The floors are teak and Holly on the bridge deck and each stateroom
The interiors are in African teak.
The bridge deck has a large “U” dinette for 8 persons

Forward:  1 cabin with 2 large berths

Aft:  1 double stateroom  with 2 large shelves  and 2 cupboards, amidships is a galley with 4 burner stove (new 2005), triple sinks with draining board, eye level oven and grill, a 12 V freezer/refrigerator. Large (deep) freezer box with 12 V  freezer plate and engine driven compressor (new 09/2011)

Port hull

Aft:  1 double stateroom, midships is a wet cupboard and a large navigation table with book case, shelves

Fwd: large bathroom with shower, sink and head. Hot water from a  45 l boiler on the engine cooling circuit. Holding tank and head circuits new 2006.
