World Cat 266 Leisure Cat - New arrival

Not your traditional deck boat, the World Cat 270 LC (called the
266 LC in 1999–2002) combines a huge party platform with a
stable, smooth-riding catamaran hull capable of handling offshore
waters. Building a deckboat on a catamaran hull makes a lot of
sense; catamarans are far more stable than monohulls, and the
rectangular deckboat shape fits easily on a cat’s twin hulls. The
comfortable, deep cockpit of the 270 LC offers lots of room to
move around and plenty of storage under each bow seat. The aft
U-shaped lounge converts to a huge sun pad, but the absence of
a transom door means passengers have to climb over the seat to
get to the swim platform. An open-air galley is to port, opposite the
helm, and the head—forward in the port console—features an innovative
two-part door that admits light and fresh air. Beneath the
helm is a massive storage locker for skis and wakeboards. (Note-

more expensive than a conventional deckboat, her ability to handle
rough water is far superior to any of her monohull counterparts.
