Cabot 36 Cutter

Scythia III represents an opportunity to buy one of Canada's best built true blue water cruisers & outfit her to your own specifications. This is a lightly used fresh water vessel, unused in the last few years. She has been in one family's ownership from new, passed down 2 generations. The only Cabot built with an Atomic 4, the price reflects a new owner's option to repower with diesel, although the Atomic is still in good working order, with new exhaust & electronic ignition. Most equipment is factory installed but the original Yukon Gold gelcoat was repainted the same colour about 20 years ago.

The boat has basic sails, main, staysail & furling genoa, original plaid cushions, and a heavy duty 6 pad steel cradle.

The Cabot 36 was built in Cape Breton to a Brewer & Wallstrom design. This is hull number 49 of a production run of 60. The design is sought after for a number of reasons. The sea kindly hull shape- full keel with the "Brewer Bite", high bulwarks, deep T shaped cockpit, foam core sandwich construction and stout cutter rig. The Cabot 36 is included in Richard Henderson's book, "Choice Yacht Designs". Recent survey available.

Bow & stern rails, double lifelines, gates, custom anchor platform/roller, cockpit cushions, pedestal steering, anchor locker, deep cockpit locker & twin propane lockers. Dodger & bimini.
