The Cape Dory 30 was designed by Carl Alberg to meet the needs of the serious cruiser. There is ample locker and storage space throughout. Her galley was designed to include more storage areas and more efficient use of space. A two burner stove is standard as is the large top-loading ice box. The warmth of wood is built into every one of the Cape Dory yachts. The 30 is no exception; from top to bottom, you'll see plenty of evidence of Cape Dory craftsmanship.
She has a huge forward head with drawers, lockers, and a shower with a teak shower grate and a shower sump. There is a Navigation Station across from the Galley with electronics and gear storage cabinet.
The Main Cabin berths (One double and One single) are 6'6" long with a fixed drop leaf table between them.
