CASAMARA presents an unusual opportunity to purchase one of the very best blue water yachts available on the market at the very beginning of her life.  Delivered in May 2009, she was little used in the first ownership.  Her current owner has cruised her extensively, she has an ARC beneath her keel and she has also cruised in the Mediterranean, where she is currently based.  In his ownership she has been substantially updated including the fitting of air conditioning and many other features to make her suitable for comfortable, long distance cruising.

The Discovery 55’ has been extensively reviewed, Bluewater Sailing called her `an innovative and eminently comfortable voyaging home’, whilst Boat International said ` the Discovery 55’ is a beautiful boat, soundly constructed out of the best materials and designed to look after her crew, whatever nature throws up.  But none of this is at the expense of performance which is in the top league of today’s modern cruiser-racers’.
