Tolly 44 Cockpit Motor Yacht - True MUST SEE Cruiser!

READ THE ARTICLE IN THE MARCH  2015 EDITION OF "POWER AND MOTORYACHT" FOR MORE INFORMATION!! (page 96-100)

Looking for the perfect "Great Loop" boat?  This is it!  Not only does this Tollycraft show extremely well, she is very well equipped for serious cruising.  She has low hours (1425) on her 375hp Caterpillar 3208TAs , dinghy with davit on foredeck, recent Garmin electronics upgrade, custom cabin doorway (a great improvement from her sisterships), 8kw Westerbeke generator (only 1020 hours- and generator was relocated to main engine room instead of the standard lazarette location), recent full canvas package (full bimini and aft deck enclosure- see photos), covers for all flybridge seating, nice sized cockpit for easy line handling, large lazarette with plenty of storage (see photos), new air condtioning units for forward and aft staterooms, side door from salon to foredecks, plenty of spare electric cords and adaptors, all new 8D batteries Spring 2014, sea anchor, magma grill with cockpit mounting bracket, and the list goes on.  The gelcoat is in excellent condition, and the boat has been very well cared-for.  Excellent service records are available.  Owners have recently returned from an extensive cruise, and all systems have been thoroughly examined.  This is a "must see" for anyone who is looking for a versatile and efficient cruising yacht.

"Splash Down" offers a very roomy two-stateroom, two-head arrangement with galley and dinette down, leaving space for an emormous salon amidships and an enclosed aft deck.

Stepping aboard the yacht on the swim platform, the cockpit is accessed through the transom door.  The cockpit is large enough to be very useful, but is not over-bearing.  The standard Tollycraft 44' CPMY has a steep centerline ladder  to access the sundeck- "Splash Down" offers a custom ladder arrangement which is much easier to climb, and is hinged to give full and easy access to the cockpit lazarette. (see photos).  The sundeck is covered by a custom fiberglass hardtop, and a relatively new full canvas enclosure.  Flybridge and side decks are easily accessed, and visibility from the helm through the custom enclosure is excellent (see photo).  The aft deck is equipped with wicker furniture, and the flybridge has the standard two-pedestal seats with "L-shaped" bench seat aft.

Enter the cabin from aft deck through a custom-built companionway. No need to "duck" aboard "Splash Down" (as compared to her sisterships) when entering the salon from the aft deck.  The salon is very open and roomy, giving the boat a very spacious feeling.  To starboard is a settee, coffee table, and a lounge (with custom reading lights above).  Also to starboard is a sliding door which leads to the side deck when needed.  To port is the entertainment center (large Samsung flat-screen TV, custom bottle storage, ice maker, and bar area).

Forward and down from the salon is the galley to port and the convertible dinette to starboard.  The galley features a large over/under Norcold refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, Princess 3-burner stove, Samsung convection microwave, custom spice rack, large sink, and parquette flooring.  The convertible dinette to starboard features recently re-covered cushions, new window treatments, and plenty of built-in storage space..

All the way forward is the Guest Stateroom.  This space consists of wide V-berths with filler cushion (not shown), private access to the day head, overhead hatch, and an abundance of storage.  (Again, more than the typical sistership).

The full-beam Master Stateroom is aft, and features a centerline queen berth, private head with stall shower, hanging locker and drawer storage, and a large vanity.  Plenty of natural light is provided via multiple ports on both sides and two escape hatches aft.

The current owners have recently spent considerable effort in painting and re-decorating the yacht, giving the interior of the boat a much more contemporary feel.  They have also greatly utilized all available space for additional storage.  All kinds of storage bins come with the yacht, located in very convenient locations that yet remain out of sight.  This boat is ready to cruise!
