C&C C&C 36' Sloop

This is a 1981 C&C 36 with the keel centerboard option.  The C&C 36 was one of C&C's most popular models because of its combination of performance, comfort and value.  This boat has a roller furling mainsail system which makes it extremely easy to handle shorthanded while still retaining excellent sailing qualities.  The moderate shoal draft allows for cruising and gunkholing in many places that the deep draft cruisers can't go.

LAYOUT:

There is a forepeak locker at the bow, followed by a double stateroom with hanging locker and drawers on the starboard side. After the forward bulkhead is the enclosed head containing a vanity sink and shower and a marine toilet. Opposite the head is a large hanging locker. Aft of the head compartment bulkhead is a dinette with folding table. Opposite on the starboard side is a berth, aft of the starboard berth is the nav station, followed by two berths. The port side contains a galley unit with stainless steel sink, three burner propane stove and oven, and large top loading ice box. There are ample storage shelves and lockers throughout the vessel.

ELECTRICAL:

Two 12 volt Marine batteries in plastic cases are located under the quarter berth. They supply current to a four position vapor proof battery switch, through a battery isolator and on to an electrical panel containing circuit breakers for the various electrical components. One Group 24 85 amp and One group 27 105 amp battery 2009/2010). 120 volts dockside power enters thru two waterproof connectors, one for the outlets and one for the water heater. Both are protected by 15 amp circuit breakers.
