Allied had the reputation for fashioning solidly built boats, orientated towards cruising. The original Seawind ketch was the first fiberglass boat to circumnavigate the globe. She is solidly built and of traditional design. "Acanthus" has only had 2 owners and is a freshwater boat. 

Sleeps 5 with V-berth forward and quarter berth on starboard side; Drop down dinette table; Galley on Starboard side with pressure Hot & Cold Water, 2 burner propane stove with toaster/broiler, single ss sink and ice box. Head is to port with electric head. Light blue Upholstery was new in 2008; Interior is wood grain solid surface paneling, teak plank sole, hanging locker forward
