The Ted Hood-designed Bristol 38.8 has, over the years, proven to be one of the more sought-after boats in her size range.  Her quality of construction, excellence of design, sailing performance, and attractive and comfortable accommodations make her a very desirable boat.  

EVANGELINE has had light usage, but a chainplate leak on her starboard side has caused recent damage to the wooden shelf outboard of the settee and the support for the cushions that form the settee's back rest.  Once these minor repairs have been completed, EVANGELINE will be ready to sail again.
