Bernard Warner Tug - New arrival

Built in 1936 in Kennebunkport, Maine for the Army Corps of Engineers, CADET’s first job was as a utility tug boat.  The vessel was originally built as a work boat and dredge tender, with the very strongly built deck edge typical of a tugboat, and the ellipitical “horseshoe” stern seen on a classic tug.  Her current owner, a highly experienced mariner, performed a complete rebuild almost to the scantlings specified by the Army Corps of Engineers on their original plans, with new timbers, frames, planking, deck and superstructure.

Nearly unique to the market, CADET is an extraordinary vessel, in immaculate condition, and we feel she can be highly recommended.
