Stephens Flushdeck Motoryacht

Stephens were all expensive custom builds of which Summertime is a prime example. With well over $500,000 spent on her since 2004, she's been updated inside and out but of course retains the stately lines and elegant ambiance for which Stephens are so well known. Originally built for the the local Detroit Diesel distributor, a vessel like this comes on the market only occasionally; she's the three stateroom, galley down layout and you won't find a finer example anywhere, she must be seen to be appreciated.

Some highlights: Over $30,000 spent in last couple of years, $60,000 spent in 2010. Interior completely refinished and tastefully redecorated throughout, brightwork and aft deck completely refurbished and renewed in '07-'08 including such details as salon window sliders replaced in 2009 (don't laugh, this was a $4,000 job!). Also remodeled galley and heads with custom burl wood bar and VacuFlush toilets respectively; new headliners/carpets/cushions/curtains/screens; new aft deck enclosure installed 2008 (this is a beautiful $19,000 custom installation, check out the curved Lexan corner panels); an $8,000 teak & holly sole was laid in the pilothouse in 2007; hull Awlgripped from the waterline up in 2008 ($20,000), etc, etc, etc.

In addition, almost $30,000 spent in the engine room in 2008 (and it shows, this place is neat as a pin!), low time on economical twin 320hp Detroit Diesel 8-71Ns (they only burn eight gallons of fuel an hour combined, have a complete new exhaust system and were recently serviced); 7.5kw Kohler genset completely gone thru; vessel extensively rewired (including the installation of an ElectroGuard system) and replumbed; original Stephens folding boarding ladder (these are beautifully fabricated out of chromed bronze and teak, they cost about $18,000 to replicate today, and yes, that's the voice of experience speaking), much more.

Note vessel lying downtown Sausalito in a potentially transferable slip, it's become difficult to find a berth of this size here so this is a material benefit if you're able to take advantage...
