Bill Lee’s Merlin forever changed the way offshore racing boats are imagined. With a nod to the “Wizard of Santa Cruz” and named after the wizard of Arthurian legend, Merlin has been pampered and improved by a very knowledgeable Great Lakes owner and is ready for its next adventure.

Merlin has been constantly updated and in its current configuration has a carbon rig, carbon deck, extended prod, canting keel, new Alan Andrews’ rudder and a full quiver of North Sails.

Merlin has a clean and functional white racing interior with teak and holly plywood floorboards. Sail and gear storage forward along with the head. In the main salon there are two fixed berths with the galley to starboard and the nav station to port. Aft of the companion way are six adjustable pipe berths. (three on each side) Merlin has twelve crew cubbies with zippered access.
