Introduced in 1982 the Silverton 40' aft cabin was the first Silverton Double cabin design.  She was built on a solid FRP, Modified V hull.  This design allowed both good performance and sea keeping ability as well as a lrge interior volume.  The silverton 40 can make a very nice live aboard or weekend condo cruise to any Southern Californian location with ease.  The rel benefit of Bel Mare is the extensive work that has be put into this vessel with the following updates.
