Freedom Yachts 32 - New arrival

The Freedom 32 with it's "Cat Sloop" rig and and sail plan sails well under all points of sail with either the main alone or self tacking and self "vanging" jib sail. The integral wishbone boom with the jib makes sailing wing and wing a snap without need for a wisker pole. For extra downwind performance  you have the option of flying the "Hoyt Gun Mount" spinnaker that can be fully deployed from the cockpit and takes the anxiety out of spinnaker use.  The interior is a wonderful space full of Teak and nice fabrics that can sleep four in to separate cabins.  The salon features a nice curved dinette, full galley and a stand up navigation station.  Click on the full specs button for a complete equipment list and photos. 

There is a comfortable B-berth forward that sleeps two with no bothersome insert.  In the V-berth area is a hanging locker to port and cabinet storage to starboard.  Although the cushions are original they are in good condition.  For privacy the whole forward cabin encloses with a solid teak door.  The main salon consists of a circular double dinette to port and a single settee to starboard. The stand up navigation station is to starboard across from the L-shaped galley.  Aft and to port you will find an enclosed aft cabin to sleep two.  The head is to starboard aft and has a manual flush marine head, sink and vanity with shower wand. Interior is appointed with rich teak wood and upgraded salon fabrics and curtains.  There is a teak and holly cabin sole. The cockpit is large and features a bimini top for shade, teak helm seat with padded cover and cockpit cushions.  You also find cozy covers on the aft lifelines for comfort.  Several cockpit lockers provide storage and also there is a dedicated vented propane locker with a single tank.
