The very popular Alerion 28's originally designed by Nathanael Herreshoff was intended to be what it continues to be today; a beautiful sailing day-sailer ideal for the spur of the moment sail for short-handed or single handing whenever the time is right. 

This lightly used Alerion needs a little TLC and is currently under her Fairclough full winter cover on the hard, but is essentially ready to go with a full set of sails at the first sign of Spring.

The Alerion 28 is currently winterized and on the hard in Oxford, Md under her full Fairclough (high quality) winter cover. Everything has been winterized and the cockpit cushions and spinnaker are currently not on the boat.

Now is a good time to check out the condition of the bottom, shallow draft keel, bottom paint, rudder, saildrive, prop, some of the topsides, and obviously the winter cover.

We can get access under the cover into the cockpit and also below with a step ladder. If you are seriously interested, please make arrangements to see the boat.
