Shannon 50

Fidele is a world class Shannon 50 bluewater cruising yacht that is exceptionally strong with an extensive list of upgrades and electronics.  The entire interior was refinished in 1992 in the Herreshoff style with white laminate and solid teak trim.  The result is a very open, light and airy feeling below.  The salon settees were upgraded with high density foam and top grain leather in 2006.

 

Shannon Boat Company, Bristol, RI, has been building high quality yachts for 35 years and the Shannon 50 is regarded as one of their finest designs.  Fidele is one of the most versatile ketch rigged models of the Shannon 50, preferred by many sailors who cruise shorthanded.  Her unique deck layout with aft cockpit and double companionway provide safety offshore and privacy and convenience at the dock.  Since 70% of the time on a sailing yacht is spent in the cockpit, Fidele's large, deep cockpit design is an especially valued feature.
