Known for the 18’ and 24’ foot Models, this is the only known 20’ version of the popular “Blackjack” series built at the Hubert Johnson Boat Manufacturer shop in Bayhead, NJ through the early nineteen sixties. Designed and built on Barnegat Bay, “Hubert” is the perfect vessel for cruising the Intracoastal Waterway in style.

The boat was originally fully restores by Tommy Beaton of Beaton Bros. Boat works in Mantoloking, NJ around 1991 and has been yard maintained with inside storage by Avalon Point and now Avalon Marine Center since then.


The engine was completely remanufactured by David Van Ness of Van Ness Engineering in Ridgewood NJ around 2011.


All hull maintenance work was done by Milt Edelman of West Cape May. We have replaced within the past 3-5 years the cockpit cover, Bimini top and side curtains. Current electronics include a new depth finder and Garmin GPS and a marine radio.
