Occasionally a boat comes onto the brokerage that’s just in a little better shape than most others. Not just because their owners lavish them with love, but also a lot of money. This is ever so true for our offering, an incredibly well cared and properly equipped 1995 Freedom 45 named Raven.

When this Listing Broker first drove up to her, while she’s sits on the hard near Downtown Annapolis for easy viewing, I was truly amazed at her glow from her shiny black Awlgripped hull, to freshly painted bottom, to new zincs installed, anti-fouled max prop, new ss lifelines. All lines on deck were properly coiled, new sail covers and other canvas was new. On her teak decks not a bung was missing. Walking into her interior gave an ambience and feeling that I could easily stay here for a long while happy. No smell, no dirt, no stains. Accommodations

The Owner's Cabin is aft with a centerline island queen berth. An ensuite head and stall shower is private to this stateroom. Beautiful varnished ash cabinetry, 5 opening stainless steel ports, and a large overhead deck hatch make this space bright, airy, and inviting. A vanity with mirror to port and large drawers, cedar-lined hanging locker, and assorted bins and lockers provide ample storage.

A passageway to starboard leads past a wet locker and freezer compartment to the Navigation Station with a large chart table and pull-out seat. The chart table has a file drawer and a sliding tray for keeping nav gear and owners manuals well organized. The electrical panel, battery selector switches, and other operating controls are located conveniently in this central area.

The spacious Main Salon has an L-shaped settee to stbd, straight settee to port, and a two-leaf dinette table in between. The table opens to comfortably sit six for dinner. An entertainment center is located facing the stbd settee and includes TV and stereo/DVD player. Storage abounds in the settees, behind the backrest cushions, and in cabinets. A liquor cabinet is featured to port which lights as the doors are opened.  Cushions have are Ultraleather fabric.

The U-shaped Chef's Galley is open to the main salon and convenient to the companionway ladder. This is the ideal offshore galley: protected, close, but out of the way. A microwave, gimbaled, three-burner, propane stove with oven and broiler, refrigerator, stainless steel sink with long washboard and ample lockers and counter space all combine to make meal prep and cleanup a pleasure.

Forward to stbd is the Guest Head with access from the main salon and private access from the forward cabin. This is a large space with shower and the portlight and overhead hatch keep this area well ventilated.

The Vee Berth is forward and private. Numerous drawers, bins, and a cedar-lined hanging locker provide ample gear storage. Opening portlights and a large hatch overhead make this area comfortable for guests.

Special features include indirect lighting in each of the cabins which creates a wonderful evening ambiance. Reverse cycle air/heat provides climate control comfort for extended season cruising. Throughout this interior is quality joinery and varnish work to rival the very best cruising yachts; fine furniture in motion. Every detail is well considered for service, comfort, reliability, and live-ability. Built in central vacuum helps keep this area clean
