The Californian 48 MY is a great all-in-one package.  It provides excellent accommodations in a 3-stateroom layout, a complete galley, large salon an a spacious cockpit area for relaxing and entertaining.  "My Bet" is constructed on a modified V hull with a shallow keel and is powered with 375HP Caterpillar diesels giving her a 15 knot cruise and a top speed of 18 knots.  Used Californian motor yachts have generally held their values quite well thanks to their quality of construction, well executed interiors and better than average finish.  This particular Californian has many upgrades and improvements, making her an excellent cruiser or live aboard for her new owners.

The layout of the Californian 48 is spacious and inviting.  The aft deck is completely enclosed providing a large living area with a sink, ice maker and fridge. The main salon has an entertainment and storage area to port with TV/DVD and a leather sofa and chair to port.  The galley is down 3 steps forward of the main salon.  The fridge, stove and sink is to port and there is excellent storage, counter space, separate freezer and microwave/ convection oven to port.

The guest stateroom is forward with large double berth, ample storage, a flat screen TV and head with private shower stall to port.  The owners stateroom is aft with a large centerline island berth and plenty of storage all along the port side of the cabin.  To starboard is a dressing table, storage and a large en-suite head with separate shower stall.  There is a TV mounted across from the bed and lots of light and ventilation throughout.  The third cabin is forward of the owners cabin to starboard and has been converted into a private laundry room and plenty of storage. 

The flooring is a laminate teak and holly floor in the main salon and galley, and new carpets in the staterooms.  She is clean, bright and airy with new curtains, indirect lighting , new molding in galley, new steps to galley and engine room, cedar lined closets and more.  She has been very well maintained and continuously upgraded.
