Whitby 42 Ketch - All New Electronics!! 2010

Since they were first built, he Whitby 42's have been the choice for those who want serious cruising capability with plenty of storage and elbow room.  One inspection will reveal why.  This particular example has been nicely upgraded with recent electronics, genset, sails and numeorus other replacements.  Her engine was replaced in 1992.

Enter the main salon from the forward companionway to find the galley immediately to port.  U-shaped with double bowl stainless sink, propane stove/oven, refrigeration and lots of storage.  To starboard is the nav station.  Forward of the nav station is a full-length settee.  L-shaped dinette seating to port converts to a double berth.  

A two-leaf dining table accommodates diners on both sides of the cabin.

Forward to port is the guest head with manual marine head and integral rigid holding tank, shower, and sink.  Head access from the main salon as well as the guest stateroom.  Opposite the head is a full-length hanging locker.  The guest stateroom is forward with full-width V-berth.

The starboard side pass through to the aft master stateroom offers a long workbench and easy access to the engine room.  Master stateroom offers queen-sized berth and a full-sized head with shower, manual head, and new holding tank.  Separate hatch to cockpit above.  Unique, removable aft-engine access panel affords unobstructed access to engine room.

Attractive teak joinery and generous storage throughout.  Teak and holly sole in main salon and forward.
