Description

Hard Top Diesel sports cruiser ready for Play.  

The Trojan 42 sports cruiser is built by Bertram. It has European styling with two large sundeck cushions at the back. The interior has accommodation for four persons, and all the deck space to hold that large party with hard top for all weather entertaining. If you want a 46 ft sports cruiser with nothing to spend, then the Trojan is well worth a look. Powered by Twin Ford Sabre turbo diesel 300Hp (both engines recently fully rebuilt) and PRM newage gear box 601D 1.5:1 Arneson ASD-8 surface drives she does 28 knots @ 1200 rpm. Her motors can rev up to 2500rpm each, so an assumption can be made that the boat should achieve 40 knots. Fuel consumption on plane at 1000 rpm is 12L/hr per motor.  

The following components have been either repaired or replaced.  

•    intercoolers re-built and re-sealed  
•    Heat exchangers were removed, cleaned and re-sealed  
•    High temp silicone hoses replaced  
•    Fuel line hoses replaced with Lloyds approved hose  
•    power steering pump re-built  
•    all other hoses replaced  
•    new stainless steel reservoir installed  
•    turbos re-built  
•    lift pumps replaced  
•    oil heat exchanger re-built/tested/re-sealed  
•    all exhaust hoses replaced with Lloyds approved hose  
•    All hydraulic components have been replaced
