Vitters Shipyard

Just refitted in 2012, MARIPOSA 3a is indeed a unique classic design in a style reminiscent of the great racing yachts and the romance of the 1920's and 1930's.  Her beautiful lines, the classic sheer and deck house profile, are married to a modern hull shape and highly developed keel design, which create an extremely fast and supremely seaworthy vessel, capable of world-wide cruising in any weather.  Dutch workmanship, attention to detail, and a blonde teak interior with sculpted detailing and exquisitely designed curves throughout, ensure that the MARIPOSA 3a stands out in both style and quality.  A truly romantic and sensual yacht.

The deck hardware is a combination of standard Rondal blocks and tracks with custom designed and built cleats, fairleads, vent-cowls, etc.

INTERIOR

The interior has been beautifully executed in solid teak panelling with fabric-covered wall panels above dado level. The pilothouse immediately inside the companionway door and with its own chart area leads down to a full-width dining saloon.  The yacht sleeps 6/7 in 3 cabins with accommodation for 4 crew in 2 cabins forward.
