Design was done at Cairo Marine Design and Consulting Ltd. by Engineer Mohamed Ali Selim and building at Osman Arab Contractors shipyard in Cairo. This yard has the reputation of building the highest quality ships in Egypt. Also there was an extra engineering help from Hungary.
From fine to time during steel constructional work the Chief Engineer of the Hungarian Ship Building factory producing sea going vessels, was visiting to check the quality of the building process.
Particular attention was paid to the construction of the engine room. Oversized engine bearers, flexibile engine mounts, flexible couplings to the entire engine room. Final result is a vibration free quiet vessel. During a cruise guests appreciate this smooth rummimg ship.
