Hardy Commander 32: 2000, launched 2001

Dhunmai III was launched in 2001 and has had 2 owners that have looked after her with well deserved loving care. She is equipped with everything that could be useful for cruising. Equally happy pottering at 4 knots or speeding along at a top speed of 22 knots, the semi displacement hull and sturdy construction makes this Hardy very comfortable in all conditions.

General arrangement

Exterior – Wide safe walk round side decks with bulwarks and high s/s guard rail. Side and stern boarding points. Aft cockpit with opening cover extending full height to the transom. Aft cockpit also has various lockers, cavernous lazarette, seating with removable cushions and dedicated space for liferaft.

Helm area – 2 Adjustable helm seat. Engine controls, instruments and overhead switch panel. Large chart table and chart locker. Inner helm seat (co-pilot) is removable and may be used in place of the table or in the aft cockpit.

Deck saloon - Seating with lockers below and dining table that can be removed and used in the cockpit. 2 Stalls for extra seating. Slide out base unit converts settee into occasional berth. Large glass sunroof electrically operated. Large locker and drawer unit.

Galley – All stainless steel gas hob with grill and microwave below in place of gas oven, double s/s sink, fridge. Additional lockers. Waste bin set into worktop.

Forward Cabin – 2 Full length single “V” berths with storage underneath. Berths easily convert to one double. Hanging wardrobe, lockers below side decks either side. Opening roof escape hatch and window, with fly screen and blind. Access to chain locker via a watertight door behind the mirror. Heater vent.

Forward Heads – With sink and shower. Heater vent.

Dinette - Opposite galley area with large table that can be removed to its own dedicated stowage position forward of the heads. Slide-out base unit with built-in locker and infill cushion to form double bed. Lockers below settee and below side deck.
